About us - Who We Are:
Lorene Farms is a farm-to-table operation strategically located a few miles west of Schulenburg Texas.
We offer pastured raise Wagyu and Angus beef, Berkshire Pork, and Poultry that includes daily fresh eggs.
Our customer will enjoy a short country drive to the gateway of the rolling hills of Texas centered between Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. We also provide direct delivery to your front door or convenient meet up locations in each city.
Our mission at Lorene Farms is to continue the tradition of providing best-in-class organic food sources to our customers. Our strategy begins with our soil food web management program to ensure all our animals are getting nutrient dense food sources that promotes optimal animal health.

Our Journey - The Brenner Family Journey
The Brenner Family journey begins in 1936 when my grandfather, Helmut Carl Brenner, and my grandmother, Lorene Ardell Brenner opened their restaurant in what is today recognized as west Houston. Their initial menu offering entailed a half chicken, baked potato, and a salad for $.35 cents with the goal of $3.00 dollars a month to prosper. Over the years their restaurant grew into a top-tier steak house offering the primary cuts: Ribeye, Sirloin, and Filet Mignon on a verbal menu only. Our entire family life was centered around the steak house, and we all lived to bring the best possible food experience to our customers.
